Hello there, Aireen, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. Are you planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort? I can't think of a better hotel to consider than the original
Disneyland Hotel! It's my favorite of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels and definitely the most nostalgic for me. The history behind this property has always fascinated me. It opened alongside Disneyland Park in 1955 but was managed by the Wrather Family and wasn't purchased by Disney until 1988. Today, it mixes old world charm with modern embellishments to create a wonderful hotel property that fully immerses you in the Disney magic!
For your particular group, I would definitely recommend requesting a 2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite, a 1 Bedroom Family Suite, or a 2 Bedroom Junior Connecting Suite. Those should all fit your needs and they should have a parlor or central room that can function as a family room. If you're using a travel agent, they should be able to assist you with this request. Thankfully, planDisney publishes a handy
pocket guide to the Disneyland Hotel and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel to make it easier for you to plan that perfect getaway!
Before your trip, make sure that you have park reservations for the days of your visit. And you may begin booking your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of your arrival! While at the Disneyland Hotel, be sure to explore the grounds and try a drink at
Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar! I hear that some interesting things happen inside when you order specific drinks.
Aireen, I hope this information was helpful for you and please come back to us if you have any more questions. You're always welcome at planDisney and we'd love to hear from you again! We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
