Hi, How much tax and tip would I need to pay at the be our guest restaurant please?

    Hi Kerry-Ann!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK and I'm very happy to talk about one of my favourite places to dine at Walt Disney World - Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park!

When dining at table-service restaurants, a suggested gratuity (around 18%-20% of your total bill) will be shown on your receipt.  Please remember that this amount is suggested, and it is up to you to decide how much you want to pay.  If you settle your bill using your Disney band or credit card, you can add your gratuity to that amount, or pay it separately in cash.  Tax is charged at 6.5% for most of Walt Disney World Resort.  (Suggested gratuities and tax are subject to change.)

Dining reservations can be made online up to 60 days in advance, and you can see the current menu here for Be Our Guest Restaurant.

Once you have secured your table, you can relax and look forward to a truly magical dining experience.  I love entering Beast's castle!!  It is so enchanting, and regardless of where you are seated, I encourage you to take a look around all three dining rooms.  The attention to detail is stunning, and you may even get a glimpse of the Beast's enchanted rose in The West Wing!

It should be noted that you will need a park ticket in addition to your dining reservation to enter Magic Kingdom Park for this dining experience.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you wish.  We are here to help you plan your magical holiday at Walt Disney World!
