Hi, How far in advance are early magic hours announced so that I can plan split stay between villa and on-site? Second question-coming Christmas week 2019 will any parks have early or late magic hours with limited number of guests? Thank you, Linsey x

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linsey!

Generally speaking, Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park hours are published 180 days in advance. Typically this also includes both morning and evening Extra Magic Hours for Guests staying at an official Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Although both Park hours and Extra Magic Hours are already published for the entire month of December, please keep in mind that those hours are always subject to change without notice.

The holiday season is such a Magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. If you’ve never experienced it, you’re in for a real treat! If you’d like to enjoy a Theme Park with lower crowds and lower attraction wait times, your best bet will be to purchase a special event ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Offered on select nights through Dec. 22 at Magic Kingdom Park, this delightful event includes complimentary hot cocoa and cider along with cookies and other tasty treats as well as a special parade, stage show and Character interactions. It even “snows” on Main Street, U.S.A.! It’s one of my family’s favorite annual traditions.

I hope you enjoy your holiday visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Linsey. Please let us know if there are any additional questions we can answer for you as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

We hope to see you real soon!
