Hi How much do customised magic bands cost at Marketplace Coop - D Tech on Demand? Is there any where to see what designs are available prior to travelling as well to plan out what bands people would like? Thanks Marc

Hi Marc, and welcome to planDisney! I love how MagicBands (officially known as Disney Bands outside of the U.S.) make it super easy to enter the theme parks, open my Disney Resort hotel room, link PhotoPass pictures, and scan in at Lightning Lane and Virtual Queue entrances, all from my wrist. And what better way to make it your own than creating a custom MagicBand at D-Tech on Demand!

I chatted with a Cast Member and, unfortunately, the current D-Tech prices and designs aren’t available online. But Hakuna Matata! I do have some information that will give you a ballpark idea of what to expect. I haven’t been to D-Tech in a while, but last year the prices for customized MagicBands ranged from $29.99-$44.99+tax with solid colors being cheaper than the other designs. At the time it was an additional $5 to add customization, like your name. Just keep in mind that the prices may have increased since then.

Now let’s talk about the designs. While you can’t preview what’s available beforehand, if you do an internet search for D-Tech at Disney Springs, you’ll find videos and photos by other guests that show their custom MagicBands. The designs are always changing, so there’s no guarantee that what you see will be available, but it’ll give you an idea of what D-Tech offers!

Once you’ve finalized your design, it can take some time for Cast Members to create your custom MagicBand, especially if the store is busy. So I’d recommend making D-Tech your first stop at Disney Springs, and then shopping and eating while you wait.

If you’re looking for a snack, I always like to stop by Amorette's Patisserie to look at the beautiful (and delicious!) pastries and cakes inspired by Disney characters. It’s also right next to World of Disney, which is always a must-do when I’m there. It has the largest collection of Disney merchandise at Disney World, so it’s a great place to get all your shopping done in one place!

I’m wishing you safe travels and a wonderful visit to Disney World. Please don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney if you have any other questions!
