Hi Cara,
Welcome to planDisney!
Registration for the 2026 Springtime Surprise Weekend is coming up soon! Once you’re registered,
training for your event is very important, but so is deciding where to stay for race weekend! Do you return to your hotel room to rest after a race, or will you be trekking more magical miles in the theme parks during your race weekend?
Disney provides race transportation to and from all
Walt Disney World Resorts,
Shades of Green, and the
Swan and Dolphin Resorts. If you book a Disney Springs area hotel, I recommend contacting the hotel before your visit to see if they are providing transportation for visitors participating in the weekend events. If you’re using a ride share service to get to the starting line, there is a designated ride share drop-off area in the EPCOT parking lot. If you’re driving yourself, you must park in the EPCOT parking lot on race morning. Parking in the EPCOT lot is free before 6:00 AM on race mornings. In the past, it was recommended that all participants arrive at EPCOT by 4:00 AM on race mornings. This information is subject to change; however, an
Official Digital Expo & Event Guide will be shared on the runDisney website before the race weekend, so you can make sure you arrive at the event on time.
Good luck registering for the Springtime Surprise, Cara! I love the themes this year!
Winnie the Pooh and Tigger for the 10K is such a cute theme. Don’t forget to take your medal to a character meal at
The Crystal Palace, or over to
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, where you can even find some friends from
Hundred Acre Woods meeting Guests at the Thotful Spot! If you have any more questions, please come see us again at
