Hi- Going to WDW in Oct & will be going to Animal Kingdom for the first time. Any ideas/suggestions for that park? Have 3 daughters (8, 4, & 10 months). Breakfast at Tusker House but that is all I know @ the park. Also, how far from Bay Lake Tower

Hi Kathy! If your girls love animals, they're going to have a ball at Animal Kingdom! My favorite attraction is the Kilimanjaro Safaris. It's quite popular, so plan to ride it first when you arrive at the Animal Kingdom. The ride takes you on a safari where you'll spot lots of animals on the savanna. You may want to ride it again later in the day -- it's different every time! For more animal experiences, sample the walking trails and take the train to the Affection Section petting zoo. If your oldest daughter is a thrill-seeker, don't miss Dinosaur and Expedition Everest

Another wonderful attraction is Finding Nemo -- The Musical. This stunning show rivals a Broadway production! For an educational and entertaining show about birds, be sure to see Flights of Wonder.

It sounds like you're having breakfast at Tusker House, which is a fun character meal. If you want another sit-down meal later in the day, consider the Yak & Yeti.

You can reach Animal Kingdom by taking a bus from your resort to the park. The trip from Bay Lake Tower takes 20 to 25 minutes, but you may need to wait 15 minutes for the bus to arrive, so be sure to factor in a little extra time if you have a dining reservation.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
