Hi, Going to WDW Nov 8-15. What is the best way to get from AK to Boma? Also, MK to the Hoop De Doo? How long should it take? Thanks!

You've chosen two very easy routes.

From the Animal Kingdom to Boma, exit the park and bear right to the bus depot. You'll look for the bus slip for the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Hop on and you'll be taken to the Lodge. Boma is downstairs. I did this trip my self several times about 10 days ago. The bus ride takes about 5-7 minutes, but I would leave the park at leastĀ half an hour in advance of my reservation time in case there is a wait for the bus.

From the Magic Kingdom to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue, exit the park and walk straight ahead to the boat dock area along the water. Look for the dock marked Hoop Dee Doo, Fort Wilderness (not Wilderness Lodge), or Pioneer Hall. The boat will take you to the dock at Fort Wilderness that is about a two minute walk to the HDDR. The boat ride is 10-12 minutes. I would leave the park about 45 minutes in advance of your reservation. There may be a wait for the boat and you need to check in early for the HDDR. If you are early, there is a cute petting zoo and a small playground for entertainment while you wait.

These are both wonderful dining experiences. Enjoy!
