Are there high-backed high chairs for infants available at restaurants? Specifically at Crystal Palace?

    Hi Lindsay! Welcome to planDisney!

There's nothing I like better than being at Walt Disney World Resort with my children! It really is The Most Magical Place on Earth and bringing little ones has truly amplified my "Disney" experience.  The magic of the Resort really does rub off on my family, making us all happier and closer as a family.  I love seeing my toddler's eye light up at the sight of Mickey Mouse, watching my 7-year-old's mouth drop open during her first time on a new, thrilling coaster, and enjoying my 12-year-old continuing to just be a kid for a little while longer.

Taking an infant to Walt Disney World Resort has so many benefits - the biggest being that they are "Guests of Mickey" and don't require a Ticket! You can comfortably snuggle on more than 100 rides and attractions that don't have a height requirement and even if they don't remember this vacation, I promise you'll go home with a million magical memories.

While all table-service restaurants around the Resort will have high chairs for your little one, they are usually standard, tray-less high chairs that pull right up to the regular dining table.  To use these high chairs an infant would need to be able to sit up on their own.  If your little one is still a tiny mouseketeer I would suggest bringing a baby carrier or wrap so that you're still able to enjoy your meal with both hands!

When making your Advance Dining Reservation for table-service restaurants like The Crystal Palace, make sure to include baby in your headcount! This way, Cast Members will know to reserve a table large enough for your party and in an area that can accommodate a high chair.

If you're looking for a cool and quiet place to nurse, feed or change your little one before or after your meal, you're in luck.  The Baby Care Center in Magic Kingdom is located just steps away from The Crystal Palace! Baby Care Centers are located in every Theme Park and are great places to rest, relax and recharge before stepping back out into the sunshine with your baby.

    Enjoy your visit!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
