Hi, For our first trip to WDW Orlando in Jan 2024, from All Stars Movies we would like to make it for early entry at Epcot IG entrance. What is/are the quickest/most effective way to do this using free transportation and at what time in the morning?

    Melanie,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

There is nothing like walking along the beautiful waterways of the EPCOT Resort Area hotels for a relaxing start to your day at Walt Disney World! Getting to enjoy that extra Early Theme Park Entry time makes it even better!

While Disney resort transportation from Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to EPCOT is designed to get you to the main entrance of EPCOT, not to the International Gateway entrance, there are ways to accomplish what you are asking about. It will take some effort, but the ride should be scenic and fun.

NOTE: I used the park hours for January 11, 2024, to plan this, based on your arrival date. Some of this plan might have to be adjusted if park hours vary from these times.

Step 1: Hop on the bus from the All-Star Movies Resort headed to Disney's Hollywood Studios

    Step 2:
When you arrive at Hollywood Studios, take the Disney Skyliner to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT. This will require one transfer along the Skyliner route, at the Caribbean Springs station.

TIMELINE: The bus ride to Hollywood Studios should take about 20 minutes. The Skyliner ride should also take about 20 minutes. When you remember to include as much as 20 minutes at your starting point, as you wait for your bus to arrive, the total trip should take about an hour. Since both parks start Early Entry at 8:30 am, buses should start at 7:45 am. I would try to be there around that time, to catch that first bus of the day.

    BONUS TIP
When traveling on the Disney Skyliner route, there is a Joffrey's stand located at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Skyliner station. They have tons of great coffee and tea options!

    DISNEY SKYLINER WARNING
From January 16, 2024, to January 21, 2024, the Disney Skyliner will be undergoing a scheduled routine maintenance.  I don't think this will impact your plans, but depending on how long you are staying I thought it could, and that you should plan accordingly.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
