Hi, For a first trip to Disney World with a 4 year old what is the best resort to stay at. We would be interested in a Deluxe Resort. Also, what is the best age to first bring a child to Disney, I always hear to wait until their old enough to remember i

    Hi Marie,

I'm so excited that you will be planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.  I think that you are never too young to visit The Mouse at his house.  My children's first trips were before they were a year old.  They can remember them because we captured every magical moment on video.  Your child may not remember every detail, but they will remember the special time spent together as a family.

I would highly recommend that you choose a resort on the monorail line;  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort or Disney's Contemporary Resort.  All of these resorts allow for quick access to the Magic Kingdom where you'll probably spend most of your time.  In addition, the monorail is also convenient for a quick getaway in the afternoon for a nap.  All of these resorts are wonderful in their own way, so you'll have a great experience no matter which one you choose.

So, Marie, if you need additional assistance planning your trip, we're always here to help. Just let us know.

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
