    Hi,Erin! Planning 1st vacation April 23-30 2010. Me,DH,DD8,DD5,DS2. Trying to decide Movie res. or POR. Like theming@Movies, but afraid of "competition" crowds. Is there a place where I can find out when competition teams are there? Thanks

    Hi Yvette,

    Unfortunately, there is no master schedule of when there are large groups booked into the value resorts. From personal experience, I do know that more of the large sports competition groups (Pop Warner football, cheerleading championships, etc.) are scheduled for the winter months, rather than the more expensive spring season. However, at the value resorts, it is possible to find group booked there at any time.

    I do have to say that Port Orleans Riverside is a beautiful resort. The pools have many enhanced features over the All Stars and the atmosphere is much quieter. If that's the route you decide to go, I think it's an excellent choice.
