hi, Disney gives us a list of snacks that are available thru the dining plan, but are there any special places to get snacks that only veteran Disney World people would know about. thank you

Ooh, Theresa, excellent question! I'll give you a few of our favourite snacks:

    Magic Kingdom
    - Dole ice cream treats, Aloha Isle, Adventureland
    - Main Street Bakery - anything, seriously, so delicious!
    - Main Street Confectionery - again, anything!
    - Homemade chocolate chip cookies from various locations

    - Norway - school bread - delish!
    - Japan - Kaki Gori shaved ice - my daughter's must have
    - France - Boulangerie Patisserie - anything, but I LOVE the chocolate mousse!
    - Germany - Karamelle Kuche - a must if you love caramel

    Animal Kingdom
    - Harambe Fruit Market - great selection of fresh fruit

    Hollywood Studios
    - Starring Rolls - many baked goods to choose from
    - Writer's Stop - I love their cookies!

    Downtown Disney
    - Goofy's Candy Co.  - Head straight there! The Make-Your-Own treat are a highlight each trip!

And of course, popcorn and Mickey bars. Suddenly I'm hungry...
