Hello, Angie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you thought to visit us with your question.
I know that hiding ducks onboard Disney Cruise Line has become a popular activity for many guests. My daughter always gets excited when she spots ducks hidden around the ship. However, if you find any of these ducks onboard, I would ask that you keep them and do not hide them again. The official policy from Disney Cruise Line is that guests cannot hide things, such as rubber ducks in staterooms or public areas on the ship.
If you like the idea of sharing small gifts with your fellow cruisers, you might enjoy participating in a guest-led Fish Extender gift exchange. You can
read more about how to participate in these gift exchanges at this link.
Angie, I know that your cruise director will be hard at work preparing a Disney Cruise bursting with fun activities and entertainment for
everyone in your sailing crew. Please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before heading out on your adventure. Once you are on board, the app will display the Daily Activity Schedule. If you'd like to be notified when your favorite activities are about to begin, click the heart icon next to any listings of interest. If you have notifications turned on, you'll receive a notification reminder about 15 minutes before the activity is set to begin. These notifications have come in handy for me plenty of times when I've been engrossed in a movie by the pool, typically with a soft-serve ice cream cone in hand!
Have a wonderful sailing and please return to planDisney if you have more questions. My pals and I will be here for you.
