What are the hidden Mickeys I keep hearing about?

Hidden Mickeys (HMs) are a great “hidden” attraction at WDW. They exist in many forms, but often are defined  as   subtle                (non-                obvious) appearances of Mickey’s head (often just 3 circles, but   sometimes   a               profile               view) in unexpected places. Consider them evidence that the Imagineers who design                          and build rides, have a cute sense of humor – as HMs are often sneaked into designs                               of rides and other park areas, without them being in any formal blueprint designs. One                            beautiful example of a HM that I recently discovered was in Space  Mountain, where                        the planet Earth that is projected on the ceiling has a profile Mickey  head  made out of  the cloud formation on the surface of the planet.   There are literally thousands of HMs across the parks, and there is no official complete listing of all these gems.  Resources for finding HMs include: 1) Cast Members in the parks often know about nearby Hidden Mickeys, 2) Steven Barret’s book "Hidden Mickeys Field Guide", and 2) Tom Shaw’s www.hiddenmickey.org web site
