Hi, Can you walk to Epcot and/or Hollywood Studios from the new Riviera Resort like you can from the Epcot Resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan & Dolphin)?

    Hi Joanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are planning to stay at the brand-new Disney's Riviera Resort! You are going to love the theming - it is based on Walt's travels throughout the Mediterranean, and it is gorgeous! Much like the Epcot Resorts, you are going to love the location! The Resort is ideally situated between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and while there are no walking pathways between the Parks and the Resort, no worries! You will be on the fantastic Disney Skyliner route!

Disney Skyliner connects your hotel with Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and other Resort hotels. From the Resort, it's about a 10-minute flight in either direction to the Planet of Batuu or Epcot's International Gateway. Along the ride, you will have a birds-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort, and it is super unique! I've loved checking in on the backstage progress of Remy's Ratatouille's Adventure, and my kiddos play their version of a match game by trying to ride a different themed gondola each time we take flight! So far, their favorites are Coco and a Star Wars-themed coach with Porgs!

Like most Disney transportation, the gondolas run before Park opening until after Park close. Remember that they are airborne, so flights and times are subject to change, especially depending on weather conditions. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back. Enjoy your flight!
