Hi! Can you bring drinks and/or snacks into The Festival of the Lion King at Animal Kingdom? Alecia

Hi, Alecia, and welcome to planDisney where one of my favorite topics is food! I love all the food at Walt Disney World Resort from snacks to Signature Dining. And Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park has some roaringly good options.

Since Festival of the Lion King takes place indoors at Harambe Theater, no food or drinks are allowed inside. You are welcome to enjoy a snack and a drink while you wait in the queue, but once you head inside the theater, you will be asked to dispose of any unused food items in the trash containers. I always have a trusty water bottle with me, so I usually secure that inside my backpack before entering any indoor theater at Walt Disney World Resort. And eating a snack quickly is basically the only way for me; I love snacks too much to savor the flavor!

Did you know there's a spot to grab a DOLE Whip near The Festival of the Lion King? Getting one of those beauties at Tamu Tamu Refreshments and then strolling over to enjoy it while waiting for the show sounds like a perfect plan. And after the show, you could head over to Nomad Lounge for some Impossible Sliders. And now you know how I plan my visits to Disney. It's basically all about going from snack to snack for me!

Alecia, I hope you have an amazing visit to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Say hello to my favorite Tumble Monkeys at the show!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
