Hey! 2 years ago, my freshman class came to WDW at the end of the year. It was so much fun that some of us want to go back together! Would the nine of us (ages 16 or 17) be allowed to stay at the hotel by ourselves, or does an adult have to stay with us?

In anticipation of my daughters asking me this exact question some day, I recently had a chat with the front desk manager of one of the WDW resort hotels. I asked her how old guests have to be to check into a WDW hotel on their own. The answer was "18." So, unfortunately you won't be able to go to WDW without adult supervision.

If you do have an adult with you, then they don't necessarily have to be sleeping in the same room as you. There are many school groups, youth music groups, and teen sports teams that come to WDW. They often have more teens than chaperones, and thus the teens do end up sleeping in the room on their own.
