Hi Coral,
I'm super excited for you! You're just a few weeks away from your first visit to the most magical place on earth!
I'm happy to let you know that yes,
you are able to bring your own snacks and drinks into the theme parks. There are a few exceptions, like no alcoholic beverages, glass bottles (except for baby food jars), or large coolers, so be sure to check the list of what you
cannot bring into the theme parks, but otherwise, feel free to bring whatever you need! My family likes to pack water bottles, granola bars, and nuts in case we get hungry or thirsty before we're ready to stop for some food. You could even bring sandwiches or something simple for a meal if you'd like!
With that said, we do have a couple of must-do snacks at the Walt Disney World Resort! Anything Mickey shaped is worth stopping for, especially a Mickey Ice Cream Bar or Mickey Pretzel, and my husband and kids are huge fans of the Dole Whip. Another snack we love to get is the refillable popcorn bucket. It's a great value because once you've purchased it, you are able to refill for just a small fee ($1.50 on my last visit) as many times as you'd like during your vacation. One tip: There's a popcorn cart over by
Journey Into Imagination with Figment at Epcot with several different flavors of popcorn, and those are also eligible for refills at the same low cost.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Coral, and please let us know if you have any other questions! Be sure to ask for complimentary "My First Visit" buttons when you arrive, and have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
