Hi Keyuna,
Welcome to planDisney and "Boo to You!" I just love
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party so I can understand why you wouldn't want to miss it on your upcoming trip. It's spooky, festive, and frightfully fun, but not to worry- "It's really not so scary!"
If you are hoping to attend this special ticketed event on September 26, you'll need to purchase a separate admission for the party.
Standard theme park tickets you purchased a la carte or as part of a vacation package will not give you entry to the event, and day guests without a party wristband will be asked to leave as the park closes at 6 p.m. My husband and I will be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park on a party day next weekend, but we already made plans to enjoy dinner at Dinner Springs that evening since we won't be attending the party on this particular visit. I see that
event tickets are still available for that date, but many of the other September party dates are already sold out, so I'd act quickly if you plan to attend.
If you are hoping to enjoy a full day of fun at Magic Kingdom Park before the party that evening you can
reach out to a Cast Member by phone for assistance. They will be able to see the details of your existing tickets or vacation package and can assist in adjusting or upgrading your tickets as needed. You'll also need to make sure you modify your current
theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park if you end up switching the date of your visit.
Since
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs from 7 p.m. until midnight you may not want to spend a full day at Magic Kingdom Park before the event. My family attended last year after a
very early morning drive down from North Carolina and let's just say we were in need of a few hocus pocus potions and witches' brews of caffeine to keep us going until the end of the night. If you decide to leave your current tickets as they are and enjoy Magic Kingdom Park on September 25, you'll get to enjoy
Happily Ever After fireworks (my absolute favorite) and then sleep in the next morning before attending the Halloween party. Just a suggestion I thought you might want to consider.
Keyuna, if you have any additional questions please stop back and let us know. We're always happy to help.
Wishing you a magical visit,
Amy
