Hey all Planning a visit in Dec (approx 22-29) We are 2 adults and 3 kids (14,11,8) not sure where to stay. Not looking to break the budget but we need a room with some space and some hotels dont accomodate us.HELP! Where's the best place for us to stay?

Hi, Barbara!  You actually have several options at Walt Disney World that will accommodate your family, and not all of them are deluxe resorts with deluxe price tags!

The first option I would recommend is the All Star Family Suites.  The suites, which are at the All Star Music resort, feature a separate sleeping are for Mom and Dad, with a king size bed, television, and desk.  In the living room, you have three separate convertible options.  The sofa converts into a double bed, and there is a chair and an ottoman, each of which convert into a single bed.  The best part of this accommodation is that you get two full bathrooms!  I'm not sure if any of your kids are girls, but as a mom to three of them, bathroom time can be a hot commodity!

You will also have a small kitchenette in the suite, with a small refrigerator, microwave, paper plates and plastic utensils.  It's a great time and money saver to grab a quick breakfast of yogurt and cereal in the morning.

Another option would be the moderate Port Orleans Riverside resort.  Some of the rooms there have a trundle bed, which is suitable for someone nine years of age or younger.  This allows you to put five people in this type of room.

If you want something with more of the comforts of home, you could look into the cabins at Ft. Wilderness, which will sleep up to six people, with kitchen facilities and a rustic setting.  There are also a lot of activities at Ft. Wilderness for you to enjoy during your down time.

I hope you find one of these accommodations works for your family, and I wish you a wonderful vacation!
