Hey there! We are planning a trip tp the World for the first week of October, 2012. What will we expect as far as crowds go? If I can remember correctly it isn't that crowded. Thanks so much!

Hello fellow Kentucky girl! We will be in WDW that same week. :)

You are correct, that is not typically a crowded time of year to visit. Crowds are generally pretty thin because most schools are in session, and weather is a bit less humid, making it a more pleasant time to vacation in Florida.

The one park you may find a crowd in, particularly if you visit on a weekend, is Epcot. The Food & Wine Festival begins on September 30 and it is an extremely popular event. Since you will be there right after it opens, you will likely find plenty of company enjoying it with you. Don't worry, the park is still very manageable, but will probably have more visitors than others parks that week.

    Have a great vacation!
