Hey Mom's Panel! My boyfriend and I are going to WDW in Sept for our 2nd anniversary! We're pretty young and don't have any traveling experience. I'm really nervous and unsure about what to do. Do you have advice about check in and things like that? Thanks!

Hi Joshua - congrats on your anniversary!  Don't be nervous at all - Disney cast members are always available to provide you help whenever you need it!

I assume you've already purchased your park tickets and have reserved your hotel.  Before you leave, you should make your dining reservations.  To do that, you can call (407) 939-3463, or you can reserve online.

Checking in is extremely easy.  The reservation should be under your name but having your confirmation number may be useful.  In addition, you'll want to have photo ID and a credit card available.

If your room isn't available when you check in, you'll be given a number to call, or you can have a text message sent to your phone.  That way, you can head straight to the parks to begin your vacation!

If you decide not to use a park ticket the first day, consider visiting Downtown Disney.  You can get to Downtown Disney using bus transportation from your Disney resort.

Most importantly, have fun!  Remember that if you ever have any questions, just ask a cast member!
