Hey! I am from NL Canada and contemplating purchasing an an AP this year. If I book our resort now and decide after to purchase the AP, would the amount of the resort price that I already booked be adjusted to reflect AP discounts? Thanks

Hey there, Roxane! It's great to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Mickey and I think it's fantastic that you're considering becoming a member of the Passholder family! The Disney Parks Blog recently put out their the top 10 reasons why this year is a great time to experience the Parks with a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass. However, like you, I love having an Annual Pass so that I can take advantage of the exclusive Special Offers. I bookmark this page on my computer and check it often. Last year, I was able to save 20% off my previously booked room at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. When I spotted the offer, I called and spoke to a Reservations Agent who was able to apply the discount without modifying my reservation. The more money I save means, the more souven-EARS I can buy!

Promotional offers are always different and not guaranteed. I think you're wise to book early to secure your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. Then if a Special Offer comes out later, all you have to do is call Disney Travel Operations at (407) 939-5277, and an agent will apply the discount (pending availability of the discount at the time you call). You can also try applying a Room Only discount online via your My Disney Experience account. Under "My Reservations," you will want to click on where it says "Change Reservation" typed in a bold blue color. Follow the prompts to see if there is a better offer, and you can make the changes right there if available. Keep in mind, that when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll need to show your yellow AP card (you get this upon activation at the theme parks or at Guest Relations).

I hope you find some pixie-dusted deals before your trip, Roxane!
