Hi Michael,
Welcome back to planDisney. I bet you're as excited as I am over the recent announcements about Lightning Lane Multi Pass. This new and improved system will replace Disney Genie+ Service and should make daily itinerary planning at
Walt Disney World Resort a simpler process. There are a few details you'll want to make note of, so let's dig in.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass will officially launch on July 24, 2024. Once live, guests can enjoy advance purchasing and planning for eligible attractions during their visit.
Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests and guests of select other resorts can begin 7 days prior to check-in, as long as they are physically in the US. Off-site guests will have access to pre-planning 3 days before their ticket start date. Keep in mind that advance planning access begins on July 24. Guests arriving on that day will not be able to plan 7 (or 3) days prior but will have planning access for the remainder of their ticketed days beginning at that time.
You indicated an upcoming stay at the
Walt Disney World Swan hotel, and you'll be glad to know that this is currently on the list of the select resorts with 7-day advance planning access. As long as you have arrived in the US, you can review pricing and attraction availability 7 days before your check-in date within the My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you won't be stateside that many days before your resort check-in, you'll still have access to purchase and plan for your length of admission, up to 14 days, once you arrive.
I'm excited to see these program updates in action on my own visit in September. I can't wait to schedule my favorite attractions around existing dining reservations and eliminate the need to plan at 7 a.m. each day. I'm sure we'll see a lot more information as these programs are set to roll out. I recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates.
Michael, please come back with more questions as you countdown to your visit. Hope to "see ya real soon!"
Magic and memories,
Amy
