Hey Nancy! Thinking of booking a 3/4 day cruise to Bahamas late May/early June. Never cruised and not sure if I have enough time to plan. DS10 has Asperger's-loves fish and is a Disney boy(we visit the World every year). What excursions for him? Help!!!

    Ahoy Cathy!
A late spring sailing on the Disney Dream is a wonderful idea, and there is still plenty of time to plan a magical Bahamian voyage for your family!
My first recommendation is the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction and Discover Atlantis in Nassau.  The beginning of the adventure is an incredible dolphin encounter in which you will be able to interact with your new mammal friend for 30 minutes.  After visiting with the dolphins, you are able to explore the ruins of Atlantis (mock archeological site) and marine habitats which I'm sure your son will love!  If you aren't looking to get wet, the Sunshine Glass Bottom Boat Tour is an short excursion in which you will marvel over beautiful marine life in the Caribbean Sea!  After your tour, you will be able to pick up a few souvenirs before heading back to the ship.
On Castaway Cay, Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure is the perfect choice because you will be able to see and feed the rays in the shallow waters during this hour long excursion.  Snorkeling in the lagoon is included in the tour price as well.
I hope I've given you some good ideas, Cathy!  Please let me know what other questions you may have about your first cruise adventure!  I'm always happy to help!
Have a magical day and happy planning!
