    Hey Moms! When on the disney cruise for dining, what are children aged 13 and 10 supposed to wear for casual, pirate, and "dress-up" night????? Thanks

    Hi  Sean!

    The dining onboard the Disney Dream is phenomenal!  Your family is going to love the options that Disney provides for you during the rotational dining experience!

    Here are some suggestions for your children's cruise attire:

    Cruise Casual-Collared shirts like polos for boys with khaki pants and sundresses, capris, skirts and coordinating tops for girls. 

    Pirate Night- You can purchase a costume or make your own using anything that is black, white, red and striped! One idea is to cut an old pair of black pants zigzag at the bottom and use a piece of fabric to create a belt or a headpiece and pair it with a white V-neck. There are many different styles of pirate wear so be creative!  You will find some pirate attire and accessories for sale in Mickey's Mainsail onboard the Disney Dream as well.

    Dress Up Night-A variety of dress up clothing will be worn on this night of the cruise.  I would suggest a collared button down shirt with dress or khaki pants for boys (tie optional) and a dress or skirt with top for girls.  

    Each night the ship's photographers will be ready to take your beautiful family's photo.  I love my photo wall display in my house of all our pre-dinner cruise photos!  Looking back, I'm so glad we "dressed the part" each night so we have those memorable photos to cherish.

    Again, these are just my suggestions!  The most important component of the outfits that you choose for your family is that you are comfortable!
