Hey there! Leaving 1/25 for 1st trip! Is it a hassle wearing eye glasses on the rides-do I need to worry about them coming off-do you wear a strap? I can wear contacts, but they aren't as comfortable & I can't see anything without the glasses/contacts.

As a family where four out of five of us depend on glasses and contacts to keep us from walking into walls, I understand your dilemma. Personally I wear my contacts most of the time, however my husband and youngest son wear only glasses and have yet to have a problem on the rides. None of us use a strap on our glasses since we do not like the feel of the strap, or as the boys tell me it "looks funny".

Most of the rides are slow moving and have had no impact on our glasses. There are a few faster rides, like Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Expedition Everest, where we elect to take them off and either hold them or place them in the front pouch that is usually on the car. If you are concerned they may fall off another option would be to leave them with a member of your party that is not riding or bring a case and put them in your bag before riding. I believe you will find very few rides where you are even concerned about them, so be comfortable and wear them. We would not want you missing all the great things there are to see at Disney World.

    Best,
