Hey my kids have mermaid tails are they allowed to bring them in there pools?

Hello, Lexi! Who doesn't wish they could be part of that world with Ariel and her lovely mermaid tail!?

Swimmable Mermaid Tails are all the rage now for both adults and children. Although pool toys are generally allowed at all of the feature pools at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, the Mermaid Tails have not been allowed in the past, as they can pose a safety hazard.

However, for anyone who has mermaid aspirations, Walt Disney World Resort has a brand new experience which may get your Mousekeeters one step closer to their dreams! Guests ages 4 and older can participate in the 8:00 AM Mermaid School on select days at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. During the class, they'll learn to swim just like a mermaid through several fun activities, such as swimming through underwater hoops. The experience is taught by The Mermaid Academy, which is a local Orlando company. They will have tails on loan, but it's possible your kids could bring their own. For more information, call (407) 939-7529.

I hope your trip goes swimmingly well, Lexi!
