Ahoy there, Robert! Thank you so much for sailing in to see us with your question.
Disney Cruise Line has very few
dress codes, but it's just so nice to get a little dressed up, looking practically perfect when you go to dinner. It's something I always look forward to when I'm sailing.
The tricky part is that unless you are sailing
when costumes are allowed, like on one of the s
pecially themed cruises or during the
Pirate Night festivities, you want to make sure you don't look costumed. If you've never heard of Disney Bounding, do a quick search, and you'll see the level of "inspired" that is generally acceptable. Maybe skip the full-length gowns, and go with a pretty skirt or shorter dress that echoes your favorite princess looks. I've actually seen some Princess Aurora Disney Bounding with sort of an iridescent fabric to mimic the blue and pink color change of her gown. Stunning!
You can rock these looks, Robert, just be careful and avoid full-on costumes. Wear the colors and maybe mimic some of the silhouettes of your favorite princesses, and definitely go with a pretty and dressed-up vibe. And have the best time ever!
