Hey Heather! Just found out we are going to Disney in March for 5 days with Luci (will turn 3 there!), Ben and Charlie (6 next week). I don't even know where to begin ! I'll start with what character meals should i book?

You will have a great time!

I know Luci will want to dine with the Princesses, so my girls' favorite meal for that is in Epcot at Akershus.  There's usually half a dozen or so princesses there and the girls eat their meal half in awe, and half in fits of excited giggles.  We especially like breakfast there, as lunch and dinner are traditional Norweigan fare that my little ones don't enjoy.  I also highly recommend 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.  You can do breakfast with my personal favorite Mary Poppins, or dinner with Cinderella and the step-sisters.  The evening meal is very campy and fun, and your boys especially would get a kick out of their antics I'm sure.

Another must-do character meal for our family is breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  Dinner is offered as well but we prefer the morning meal.  This is a great place to have a birthday party for your daughter, as there's always a special celebration.  My girls are solidly princess and girly so we haven't tried it yet, but I've heard great things about the breakfast at O'Hana (in the Polynesian) with Lilo and Stitch.

Wherever you wind up eating on your daughter's birthday, be sure to mention it when you make your reservations and also when you check in at the podium.  Your daughter might be in for a special treat!  Also be sure to ask at Guest Services, or at the front desk of your hotel, for a birthday button.  Luci can wear her special pin all day and cast members will wish her a Happy Birthday, characters will fuss over her, and she will be treated like the princess she is.

Speaking of which, have you considered the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for her big day?  What little girl wouldn't love a princess makeover?

    Happy planning!
