Hi there, Jenny! Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney with your question. I’m so excited for your family’s upcoming cruise on the
Disney Magic. What a beautiful ship and such a fun itinerary! I actually sailed the same one recently, and it’s truly one of my favorites.
Just like you, I love staying active on vacation. While I usually start my morning on
Castaway Cay with the 5K, I totally get the appeal of finding your zen with a little yoga under the shade of a palm tree. It’s such a peaceful way to begin the day!
In the past, Disney Cruise Line has offered complimentary yoga classes on Castaway Cay, typically held in the morning at Serenity Bay, the adults-only beach. These sessions are around 30 minutes and have been a popular way to kick off your island time. They’re usually called Sunrise Yoga, and space is limited, so you’ll want to sign up early if it’s offered during your cruise.
While we don’t have access to specific schedules ahead of time, you’ll want to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard for the most up-to-date info on class times and locations. You can also stop by the
Fitness Center near Senses Spa on embarkation day to see what’s available and get signed up.
Yoga classes are sometimes offered onboard as well, either in the fitness center or outdoors on deck (weather permitting). Some are complimentary, while others may have a small fee, so the Navigator app will be your best friend when planning your fitness time at sea.
I hope this helps, Jenny! If you have any more questions about the Disney Magic, I’d love to help!
Namaste and smooth sailing,
Eean
