Hi Ariel,
Fall is such a magical time to visit Walt Disney World! I am excited to see that you will be enjoying
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is one of my favorite events at Disney World because of the fabulous characters that you don't see any other time of the year, the Boo-to-You Parade, and the chance to trick-or-treat throughout Magic Kingdom.
If meeting Jack and Sally is your main event for the evening and you want to do that early, I recommend heading to the front entrance of Magic Kingdom before 4 PM. You will be able to get your wristband right inside the entrance and get in line before they open the gates to people with party tickets only at 4 PM. Right after you get your wristband, head straight to the
Town Square Theater and jump in line. Jack and Sally typically do not start meeting friends until after 4:30 PM but this line stays long throughout the night so going early will ensure you don't miss the party while waiting for them.
You can also wait until the end of the night to jump in line to meet Jack and Sally. If you are a night owl, jumping in line before 11 PM will not cut your wait time down, but it will allow you to enjoy all of the party festivities before you spend a lot of time waiting for a character picture. If you go with this tactic, keep in mind that the line can close if the wait time exceeds the time the theme park closes. There is a little bit of risk in this option so it is not advised if this meet and greet is a must-do.
If you are already in Magic Kingdom and not prioritizing Jack and Sally, you will not need to go back to the entrance to get your wristband for the evening. Cast members will be stationed throughout the theme park to check your tickets and hand out wristbands. They are typically stationed at
Tortuga Tavern, Mickey's Philharmonic, and across from Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor.
We always plan a dinner at
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen to get a chance to chill and chow down on some delicious food before the party starts. This location is conveniently next to Tortuga's Tavern, where we can hop over to grab our wristbands after dinner.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
