hey doug! we stayed at Allstar resort last time and noticed pools arent gated. we are traveling with dd 3,4 and would like resort with pool security. which pools require guests to have keys to enter the pool area? thank you for any help!

    Nathan,

There actually are not that many that actually require all guests to sign in before using the pool. They may check ID to confirm you are at your own resort pool, and not surfing in from another resort, but they are not hitting 100% of the guests all the time.

There are two exceptions that come to mind.

Stormalong Bay, the pool shared by the Beach Club and the Yacht Club resorts, required everyone show their room keys. Then they ask guests to wear colored wristbands. This is simply to keep this popular pool from getting over-crowded by pool hoppers from other resorts, as opposed to being for any kind of security.

Samawati Springs Pool is the only other one I can think of. It is the resort pool at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Kidani Village.  It also requires showing your room key for entry. It is one of the largest pools on property, and an overlooked hidden gem of the resort.

    I hope that helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
