Hi there, Sandra! I'm so glad you found the trail of pixie dust that Tinker Bell left out for you and followed it here to planDisney!
Sandra, since you've already purchased your tickets, you are well on your way to your magical vacation! First, let's make sure your tickets are linked to your account. Log into your account online, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click
My Plans. Scroll past My Plans, Reservations and Tickets and toggle over to Tickets & Memory Maker. Make sure you can view your tickets for yourself and your travel party. If not, Hakuna Matata! No worries! We can easily add your tickets to your account. Log into your account online and head over to the
Link Reservations and Purchases page. Click Tickets, then enter the ID Number for each ticket you purchased, assigning each to a member of your travel party. You can even click Add Another ID Number so you can link all of your tickets at once!
Sandra, you won't need to have physical tickets to enter the theme parks. You can either use the digital Disney MagicMobile Service, purchase MagicBands, or use a Key to the World Card.
The
Disney MagicMobile Service acts similarly to a MagicBand and will allow you to enter the theme parks. MagicMobile can be used with eligible iPhones, Apple Watch, or Google Pay-enabled Android phones. To use this, make sure your tickets are linked to your account and download the
My Disney Experience app. Log into the app, tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines, and tap Disney MagicMobile. Choose your favorite pass style - whichever makes you feel the most magical! You can even add this to your iPhone or Apple Watch’s Digital Wallet by clicking the plus sign in the top right corner. When you want to enter a park, you’ll just hold up your smart device at the tap style to enter - just like a ticket!
However, I understand the desire to still use a MagicBand while at The Most Magical Place on Earth. This is an easy and efficient way to enter the parks and access your Disney PhotoPass photos! You're able to purchase any MagicBands through
shopDisney. If you decide to do this, you'll want to head to the Link Reservations and Purchases page to link your MagicBand to your account prior to your arrival.
A Key to the World Card looks a little like a credit card and will have your tickets and account linked to it, making theme park access a breeze. If you would like to use this complimentary card, just head to a Guest Relations desk either near the gates of the theme parks or at Disney Springs. If this is the route you’d prefer to take, my recommendation would be to stop at Disney Springs prior to any park days to get this card set up, since you won’t want to waste a minute of the magic!
Sandra, my best piece of advice once you link your park tickets would be to make
Theme Park Reservations. These are required to enter your desired parks on each date of your trip. I would also recommend exploring the My Disney Experience app while you wait for your vacation. This app is a little like holding a magic wand in your hand! You can view park maps, check wait times, and can even
mobile order food. This is the best way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!
