Welcome aboard, Raymond! What an exciting 11 days you will have in September when you board the Disney Magic from Barcelona for a magical adventure crossing the Atlantic Ocean! A Transatlantic sailing is so amazing because not only will you visit a few fabulous ports of call, but you'll get to enjoy so many relaxing sea days filled with all sorts of activities and events onboard. I'm excited for your family!
Normally, guests would be able to view live ABC television in their stateroom during sailings, among other stations. However, unfortunately, due to the ship location and the international broadcast restrictions that Disney Cruise Line falls under as they cross the Atlantic, they will not have access to ABC on that date. I know you would have loved to watch
Agents of SHIELD as it premieres its new season on the Magic, but set your DVR back home and you'll have it to look forward to after your sailing!
You didn't mention if you have children who would be in the
Oceaneer Club or not, but even if it's just your wife and yourself, you can stop into the Oceaneer Club during Open House hours. The Club has an entire area called MARVEL's Avengers Academy. As fans of
Agents of SHIELD, you will certainly enjoy checking out this secret command post of SHIELD. Captain America's shield is there, as is Thor's Hammer, and Iron Man's armor. So, be sure to pop in for a visit during Open House hours when any guests are allowed into the Oceaneer Club for a look around. And if you do have kids, check your Personal Navigator or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the schedule of Avengers themed events in the Club! My son gives them all two big thumbs up! Meeting Captain America himself was such an exciting experience for him!
Have a magical cruise, Raymond!
