    Hey Disney Mom ( great idea btw)  my best friend and I (he has never been ) are planing a trip in May and we are broke college kids. How can we afford it please HELP !

    Hi Catherine,

    With some pixie dust and a computer, you can make it to Disney.

    First, decide if you can afford to stay inside or outside of the Walt Disney World Resorts.  When comparing hotels in the World and out, remember that staying inside the World entitles you to free transfers to the hotel from the airport as well as all transportation to the parks.  The Disney Value Resorts may be cheaper than staying outside of the WDW Resorts when you include transportation to the hotel, between parks, gas and parking.

    For food, if you eat in your room for breakfast and eat a late big lunch you may be covered.  Portions are large in WDW.  Fresh fruit in the parks is reasonable.

    To look for deals on vacations, go to AAA or Mousesavers.com for tips and tricks on an affordable vacation.
