Hey moms and dads! The hubby and I will be going to the world alone for the first time ever in June. We love good drinks and do consider ourselves foodies. What restaurants do you recommend for good food and drinks on disney property?

    Hi Christen,

I'm so glad you stopped by to ask this question!  I'm a fellow foodie and I never turn down a good cocktail, so I have a whole menu of delectable options to recommend for you.  In the interest of space, I've listed just a few of my own favorite spots for drinks and dining below.

Let's start with drinks, shall we?
    • La Cava del Tequila: I love a good margarita and some of the best at Walt Disney World can be found here in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot.  Try the avocado and jalapeno for something different.
    • Tambu Lounge: There's some tropical deliciousness waiting for you Disney's Polynesian Resort.  The Lapu Lapu is not only refreshing, but it's also an experience.
    • France Pavilion's drink cart: The menu features French wines and beers, along with two flavors of frozen cocktails, Grey Goose Citron and Grand Marnier.  I say “oui!” to the Grey Goose Citron.
For dining, here are a few recommendations:
    • California Grill: The award-winning California cuisine is rivaled only by the panoramic views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle from atop Disney's Contemporary Resort.
    • Sanaa: This unique dining spot at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge features African cooking with Indian flavors.  The bread service alone is worth the trip.
    • Flying Fish: Feast on scrumptious seafood and steaks on Disney's BoardWalk.
I hope this helps, Christen, and happy dining!

    Cheers,

    Beth
