Hey! Coming to DW 8/17- 8/25 with husband, sister (16) and, mom. Looking at Keys to the kingdom tour but worried that it will be too hot for a guided tour. Do you think we will be miserable or is there enough indoor time? How much outdoor walking?

I want to start by staying this is a wonderful tour, and I highly recommend it as a great way to get some behind the scenes information on the most magical place on earth.

Having said that, it is mostly an outdoor tour.  Nearly everything that you see on the tour, you will see from outside, and in August, it is going to be hot.  And humid.  And hot.  And even more humid.  Fortunately, there are breaks out of the heat - including a lunch stop that can be very refreshing - so I think if this is something you really want to do, wear your lightest clothes, grab a misting fan and a bottle of water, and go for it!

You are on your feet for most of the nearly five hours (again, with the lunch break built in), so wear comfortable shoes if you decide to go.  Do the earliest tour you can, which will help you to get finished a little bit earlier in the day, and perhaps avoid the hottest part of the afternoon.

Have a wonderful time - and I do hope you get to do the tour!  It is a great peek behind the scenes.
