    Hey awesome moms and dads!! I've been planning my Disney vacation for next May. I figured we would be there during the 24 hour event, but I just realized next year is leap year. If they do the 24 hour day on leap day, will they still have one in May or no?

    Hi Leigh! You are so sweet! Thank you for the kind words, and right back at you for writing to the Panel with awesome questions!  This year is most exciting with the 24-Hour Summer Kickoff, where guests can come to the Magic Kingdom in costume from 6:00 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015 right through until 6:00 AM on May 23. In 2012, One More Disney Day had the Magic Kingdom open on leap day for 24 hours from 6 a.m., February 29.

    Disney is always coming up with fun new experiences and special events, and (unfortunately) we find out about them at the same time as you. As the date gets closer, be sure to check back here at the Moms Panel, the Walt Disney World website and the Disney Parks Blog website often for the latest news.
