Hey from Atlanta! We will be checking into our Lion King Suite at AoA in ONE WEEK!!! {aahh!} Along with my husband, 21 yr old daughter and I, my in-laws will be coming for their first time! Any Tips or Suggestions?

    Hi, Annette!
Ahh! Your trip is happening SO SOON!

You're staying at one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. The Lion King Suites are between two of the resort's three great themed-pools: Flippin' Fins (from Little Mermaid) and The Big Blue Pool (with a Finding Nemo theme). I strongly recommend taking time to explore the resort. There are so many amazing details in each of the Pixar-themed areas of the resort.

Don't be afraid to get to the parks early. When I've brought many different generations to the parks with me, we are able to have so much fun early when the parks open before the crowds wake up and arrive. I would take advantage of any early Extra Magic Hours possible. Soak in the smaller crowds and enjoy some of the attractions you really want to experience.

Don't be afraid to ask questions to Cast Members. Customer service at Disney World really is amazing. You might learn a few Disney secrets while you're at it! Also, don't be afraid to enjoy the food in the parks and in the resorts. There's a lot of food to explore. I've found table service reservations brings the whole family together and gives everyone a chance to relax after a busy day of fun.

Feel free to schedule parts of your visit but leave room to relax and explore. There are so many hidden details and thought put into every portion the resort.

    Have a magical visit!!
