    Hey Amanda! Fellow Tarheel here, thx for all your help planning our December trip, chose Contemp for upgrade! Can we watch Jingle Jungle parade at 3:45 and get to ADR at CRT 5:15? Watch near start or wait for parade near exit? Are taxis available at parks?

    Hi Adrienne! Nice to hear from a fellow Carolina girl again! The Contemporary Resort is a great choice -- the rooms are so modern, and you can't beat the monorail running right through the hotel, especially if the weather is a little cool in December! 

    I can tell you're doing your research and planning a super fun trip! Although the timing is tight, you should be able to catch Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade before heading to dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. I'd recommend that you catch the parade at the start of the route in Africa. (If you positioned yourselves closer to the park entrance, you'd have to wait at least 15 minutes before the start of the parade reached you, and you might have trouble making your reservation after the parade.) The parade lasts not quite 20 minutes, so if you watch it at the beginning of the route and then leave the Animal Kingdom, you should be exiting the park about an hour before your reservation. Even if you have to wait 15 minutes for a bus to the Magic Kingdom, you should still arrive just in time for your reservation at the Castle. If you'd rather not cut it so close, taxis are often available at the park exits. When you leave the Animal Kingdom, the taxis are usually lined up to the left, while the buses are on the right.  If you don't want to feel so rushed, you could also try moving your reservation back an hour or so, which would give you time to stop by the Contemporary and don your tiara before your royal dinner!
