    Here's a hypothetical ? for you - IF Disney offers free dining again can you upgrade to DDP & pay just the difference or do you pay the DDP price and get no benefit of the free dining. 2010 trip and we have too many restaurants to choose from. :-)

    Things are always changing at Walt Disney World and the promotional offers are slightly different every time. That being said, I can tell you that the last time Disney offered a free dining promotion, it was possible for guests to upgrade from the free basic dining plan to the deluxe dining plan by simply paying the price difference between the two.

    I'll keep my fingers crossed that free dining is offered again in 2010.
