    You helped us plan a great trip 2 yrs ago! Our next one is Sept 2013, this time bringing 4 grchildren, 9,6,4,2. Budget allows for one fun "extra." What do you think? Pirates fireworks cruise? MNSVSHP? Any other suggestions? Thanks! More ?'s

    So great to hear from you again!

    So there are a lot of great extras, but with a few of your grandchildren being younger your options get limited. No surfing lessons for a 2 year old!

    I would say that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a great choice. Perhaps the best one. Everyone enjoys that. I also like your idea of the Pirate's Fireworks Cruise. I took my then almost-3-year-old and almost-5-year-old on the cruise, and they both LOVED it. The food before you embark is nothing special, but the entertainment on the boat is one of the best character performances I have ever seen at Walt Disney World. And that is saying a lot!

    You might think about the Haunted Carriage Rides in Fort Wilderness. They are great excuses to get the kids over there to explore that area. Maybe pair that with a Hoop Dee Doo dinner?
