    HELP!Booked stay at AOA,thought was suite, is standard!Can't change now!Have 2 8yr olds and a 2 & hubby&I.Do we request 1 king and kids on queen aerobed? or 2 twin beds (1for us,1 for 8 yrs old) and 1 twin aerobed for 2 yrold?PLEASE HELP-worried

    Hi Sonja,

While technically you could stay in a standard Little Mermaid room at the Art of Animation, it's going to be a tight squeeze no matter what you do. The LM rooms are about 260 square feet, with a maximum occupancy of four people plus one child under age three sleeping in a Pack n' Play crib. These beds in the room are doubles, not twins, each meant as a sleep surface for two people. If you were in the mood to fudge things a bit, because of a need to separate the older children, you might be able to squeeze a twin air bed in between the two real beds, but there's simply not enough space for a queen size air bed in the room.

I'm curious about why you can't change. If it's due to budgetary reasons, you may be stuck with a suboptimal sleep experience. For example, having a parent with each older child in a bed and having the baby in a crib. However, if you can't change because of a lack of AoA suite availability, then you may want to consider alternative arrangements. For example, try getting two standard rooms and asking for a connecting door. You could also look into a Fort Wilderness cabin, which comfortably sleeps six, a family suite at the All Star Music resort, or even a trundle bed room at Port Orleans Riverside. These would all be more comfortable situations for your family.

We'd be happy to provide you with more information about any of these options, just let us know what you need.
