    Hi, can you help? I am taking my husband on a surprise trip to the Animal Kingdom Lodge to celebrate his 40th birthday. What would you suggest the Wanyama safari or the Wild Africa trek? Thanks

    Hi Jill,

    i absolutely LOVE the Wild Africa Trek, but given that this is for a 40th birthday, I'm going to vote for the Wanyama Safari. Both events involve up close and personal time with animals and animal care cast members, but the Safari has much better food. The Safari, which is only open to adults, ends with a wonderful meal at Jiko. Jiko is one of my top five restaurants in all of Walt Disney World. The picnic snack on the Trek is great fun, but there's nothing like a full gourmet meal and some excellent wine to make a birthday truly special.
