Hey there, hi there, ho there, Clarence! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question! I am so excited to hear that you're planning your very first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort... and it's right around the corner too! I'd be delighted to walk you through the planning process.
First things first, Clarence. While we aren't Cast Members or travel agents here at planDisney, we can absolutely guide you toward getting everything set up on your own in a simple, stress-free way. The
Walt Disney World website is designed to walk you through the entire vacation-planning process step by step, and it's much easier than it might seem at first glance.
When you go to the site, look right at the top of the screen. You'll see a place to enter your preferred travel dates, the number of Guests in your party, and the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels you're considering. Once you enter that information, click “View Rates.” This will bring up a list of all the available room options across the resorts during your chosen dates. You can browse through them, compare prices, and select the one that feels perfect for your family.
After choosing your resort and room type, the website will guide you through the rest of your package. You'll be prompted to add
Theme Park tickets, select a
Disney Dining Plan if you'd like one, and include any extras that interest you, like the
Memory Maker Service! You can choose to include everything, just a few things, or skip certain add-ons entirely. It's completely customizable based on your family's needs.
Once your package is built, you'll head to the checkout screen to finalize your booking. Since you're hoping to travel next month, your package will need to be paid in full at the time of purchase. After that, everything will appear in your
My Disney Experience account, where you can view your plans, make dining reservations, and organize each day of your vacation.
Clarence, you're about to create the most wonderful holiday memories with your family. If you need help choosing a resort, picking the best parks for each day, or deciding which holiday experiences you shouldn't miss, I'd be thrilled to help you plan the fun parts, too. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney! Have a magical day!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
