Help me plan I’ve never traveled, should I speak to someone in person

Hello, M, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! You arrive for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure soon, so I'm happy to help you get some plans in place.

You can contact magical Cast Members by calling the New Tickets phone number on the Help Center page. You can also ask about available resort rooms, dining, and more. They can walk you through some basics to get your party started!

The My Disney Experience mobile app is a fabulous planning tool. Once you download it and set up your account, you can use your mobile device to buy theme park tickets, book dining, and more. To get started, tap the three lines in the lower right corner and scroll through your options on the Welcome screen.

Your visit falls during the holidays, so my first tip is to be flexible. Crowds can be heavy this time of year because the theme parks are decked out in all their holiday finery. I love to slow down and take in Disney's twinkling, sparkly beauty, so my priorities are often different during the holidays.

For example, you can use mobile food ordering if you don't have a table service restaurant reserved. You can place an order anytime, even in the morning! Just specify when you'd like to pick up your food, and you'll be all set with a delicious quick-service meal. One of my favorite spots is Woody's Lunch Box at Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Plant-based Totchos are *chef's kiss*!

If you've booked a Disney Resort hotel for your stay, my tip is to use Early Theme Park Entry to take advantage of lower wait times for your must-do attractions. I recently did this at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and headed straight to Avatar Flight of Passage where I only waited about 15 minutes to board a banshee.

M, I'm wishing on a star that you have a festive and merry visit! Take lots of photos, and let me know how it goes. Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
