HELP! Planning a 3 day trip to DL in November! I read DL is decorated for the holidays mid-November. Don't want to be there around Thanksgiving. Is Mid-Nov. crowded with people wanting to see decorations or do they wait until Dec. or Thanksgiving?

    Hiya Renee,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a practically perfect day! I'm so thrilled you planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Last year, the Disneyland Resort had its tree lighting and first parade around the second week of November. The Disneyland Resort begins to dress the parks in its Holiday overlay after Halloween. The parks begin to get busy the first two weeks in November. However, the busiest time is Thanksgiving through the first week of January during the Holidays.

During the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, you and your family will enjoy a beautiful firework show called, "Believe… In Holiday Magic," set against the snow covered Sleeping Beauty Castle. You can meet real reindeer and participate in holiday fun country-style at Santa's Reindeer Roundup in Frontierland. Then enjoy the charming A Christmas Fantasy Parade down Main Street U.S.A.

One of our favorite holiday traditions is to take a tour on "it's a small world" attraction with the holiday overlay. Then head over to see the snow-covered Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction, featuring Sandy Claws' coffin sleigh atop the roof and see what Jack Skellington and pals from "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" have done inside!

Spending magical days during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort is the best!

If you have any more questions please write me back on how I can help you plan your pixie-dusted vacation.

    Wishing you magic.
