Help Panel Please!!. We are leaving on Saturday for our first trip. It is supposed to have scattered storms everyday. What is some suggestions for rainy days and for rain in Disney is it usually a wash out all day when it rains?

    Hi LaRae,

I would not worry about the rain! You are on vacation, and a rainy day on vacation is better than a sunny day at work to me!

There have been many trips to Disney that I have taken which have called for the same weather and not a drop fell. I would pack ponchos or raincoats for your trip along with a small umbrella. Bring these into the parks with you just in case.

Rain should not hamper your touring unless you planned on going to a waterpark. If it is going to be a very rainy day, go to Disney Hollywood Studios. It is small and has many indoor attractions which are all close to one another. It is easy to go from section to section without getting too wet.

Touring EPCOT is easy too because the pavillions are big, and you can duck inside for large amounts of time for an attraction. However, the distance between the attractions may have you ducking a few drops.

If you have a stroller, remember to bring something to cover it.  When you park it, do not panic if it is not where you left it - Castmember may have moved it to a place to keep it dry.

    Have a great trip!
