Help! I need suggestions for Dining in Parks. Kids are too old and not interested in CD. Ages 9, 10, 16. What other suggestions do you recommend for dining. We are on a budget though. Not interested in Fine dining, not that kind of people. Prefer fun!!

Hi, Sherri!  There are quite a few options we love with our too old for character dining kids.  One of our favorites is at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  50s Prime Time Cafe not only offers delicious comfort foods and nice portions, but the kids can sit at "Mom's" kitchen table from back in the 50s and watch clips of some of the shows from a much more innocent age of television.

Another favorite of my kids is Sci Fi Dine In, also at Hollywood Studios.  Dine in convertibles at a drive in movie theater while enjoying trailers from movies you might have actually seen back in the day at the drive in.

Try lunch at the Magic Kingdom at Be Our Guest.  You said you don't enjoy fine dining, but the theme of the Beast's Castle is well worth the upscale lunch offerings.  You'll still find sandwiches on the menu at lunch, but there are also things such as Braised Pork on the menu.  There are no reservations required at lunch, but the experience is well worth waiting in the counter service line.

If you've never eaten at the Biergarten at EPCOT, that's a lot of fun as well.  The atmosphere is a genuine OKtoberfest celebration, complete with Oompa band.  It's an all you can eat meal, which in our family means we can skip breakfast and enjoy it for lunch, or we'll have a late lunch and skip dinner in favor of a snack.  Definitely stretches the food budget, without sacrificing full tummies.

I hope you have an absolutely wonderful time!
